Required Skills & Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasound in a hospital or maternal-fetal medicine setting.
Responsibilities Cont'd:-Coordinates the preparation of images/exams for the provider/physician.-Documents and communicates sonographic findings to physician and licenses independent providers.-Correctly completes paperwork, logs/documents and charges all exams. Utilizes effective safety and efficiency skills on a daily basis.-Performs other related duties as assigned.-Adheres to all hospital, departmental, and regulatory policies, including HIPAA and infection control guidelines.
Required Education:-High School Diploma, GED.-Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:-ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).-BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
