Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1404.00 - $1618.00

Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds – hospital 364 beds (we treat in all units) · Number of Staff – 6 · Type of staff: o Day Shift – 8:00-4:30 o Night Shift - None · Patient Ratios – N/A · Type of equipment – N/A · EMR – Meditech · Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – Yes Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · Acute care skills/experience · Able to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Able to perform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) · NICU experience (this would be a bonus but not necessary) List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Swallow assessments (bedside, MBSS, FEES) · Cognitive assessments Best personality Fit: · Flexible · Team player Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. · Scrub Color - Black pants, olive green tops ·

Requires Texas Speech Therapist License

Preferred Qualifications
Able to perform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES)
NICU experience (this would be a bonus but not necessary)
