Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 6/30/2025 Available Shifts: 12 D/E Pay Rate: $1867.81 - $2046.64

Sono- Echo Cardiac Tech needed asap To provide quality patient care through the collection of specimens and performing non invasive cardiac testing Description - External To provide quality patient care through the collection of specimens and performing non invasive cardiac testing PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Draws blood and obtains other specimens and transports specimens to the Laboratory Introduces self and positively identifies the patient prior to specimen collection Instructs patients on proper specimen collection procedures 2 Performs non invasive cardiology testing (EKGs Holter Monitors and Stress Tests) according to department policy and procedure 3 Ensures that all applicable required Lab forms are obtained at the time of service 4 Researches unusual test requests using available resources including but not limited to the specimen collection manual 5 Documents necessary information in both hospital information systems or on department log sheets for test interpretation by ordering provider or for regulatory requirements 6 Completes Cardiac Test ordering and billing information as required 7 Informs co workers medical clinical staff laboratory staff and or Supervisor regarding changes in patient orders test requirements and workflow or technical issues 8 Wears appropriate PPE per department and hospital policy and procedure 9 Assists with the collection and transportation of blood and other applicable clinical specimens Provides assistance to nursing units regarding specimen collection and test requirements

Required Qualifications
Sonographer, Echo
Experience: 2 years
Certifications: RDCS-AE(Copy needed); BLS(Copy needed)
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history
References: 1 Reference in entire work history
