Speech & Language Pathologist - Long-term Acute Care - (SLP)

Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $1936.95 - $2122.40
Speech therapists develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations. Communication treatment plans may include techniques that not only help the individual to be better understood, but also to help them better understand others. We provide short term post-acute care for your after hospitalization, illness, or similar medical need. We also offer long-term care for those needing assistance with activities of daily living.
Leads, guides and directs the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.
Candidate must have current MO license, CCC Cert, and at least 1 year of SLP experience.

Speech/Language Pathologist, Long Term Acute Care
Experience: 1 year
Licenses: SLP-MO
Certifications: ASHA-American Speech Language Hearing Association(Copy needed); BLS
Float: float to Advanced Care of St Joseph may be required.
