Recommended qualifications include a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, a passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE), and active Georgia licensure. One year of clinical experience is suggested, along with strong adaptability, communication, and decision-making skills. The PT Compact may simplify multi-state practice if you hold a valid license in a compact-member state.
