Recommended qualifications include a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, a passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE), active Florida licensure, and at least one year of clinical experience. Strong adaptability, communication, and decision-making skills are important. The PT Licensure Compact may simplify multi-state practice if you qualify.
