Cath Lab Technologist jobs in Florida let you assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, including stent placements and pacemaker insertions. You prepare patients and equipment, monitor patient status, and maintain sterile technique throughout each procedure. You may work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on assignment needs.
Recommended qualifications include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology, ARRT certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography, and at least 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting.
