Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)
StartDate: ASAP
Pay Rate: $2212.00 - $2348.00
We are currently looking for two SLPs. Can you provide us with resumes for some qualified candidates? Please see the below info for the position.
Responsibilities:
Work with children presented with varied diagnoses including: ED, LD, ADD/ADHD, ASD
Provide individual and group therapy sessions
Keep up-to-date records
Conduct assessments as needed
Participate in team meetings and parent training
Principal Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology
Must have NYSED certification as Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
NYS SLP License and Asha certification (CCC) or SLP Limited Permit eligible
1 or more years of experience working with young children
Additional Abilities and Characteristics:
Interest and willingness to work in an environment with children who exhibit a wide variety of communication needs
Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Skills in written and verbal communications sufficient to effectively provide direction and counseling and maintain required documentation.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Experience: CF SLP - Clinical Fellowship Accepted
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are Encouraged to Apply
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
