Travel Cath Lab Tech jobs in Florida let you assist cardiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cardiac patients. You will help with angioplasties, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and maintain a sterile field while monitoring vital signs. Your responsibilities include operating specialized equipment, performing EKG tests, and recognizing cardiac arrhythmias.
Recommended qualifications include completion of an accredited radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology program, ARRT certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography, and Florida state licensure. Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures and sterile techniques is preferred1.
