In this role, you will prepare patients for ultrasound exams, operate imaging equipment, analyze image quality, and collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnosis. You may specialize in areas such as OB/GYN, vascular, or abdominal sonography, depending on your experience and certifications.
To qualify, you need completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program and an active ARDMS or equivalent certification. Experience in women’s health or family medicine is recommended.
