You will be part of a collaborative special education team with access to modern learning spaces, updated technology, and a strong network of experienced educators and related service providers.
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will serve a defined caseload of preschool through high school students (caseload size varies by building and student needs). Your typical day will include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, delivering individual and small group therapy, consulting with teachers and families, and documenting services and progress. Services are primarily provided on a school-day schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or night shifts, allowing for a stable work-life balance and alignment with the academic calendar.
Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are Encouraged to Apply
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
