StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $1992.00 - $2053.00
This outpatient Physical Therapist position is based in Candler, North Carolina, a scenic community nestled in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Candler offers a welcoming small-town atmosphere with the added benefit of being just a short drive from Asheville, a city known for its vibrant arts scene, award-winning restaurants, craft breweries, and live music. The area is ideal for those who enjoy an active lifestyle, with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, biking, fishing, and breathtaking mountain vistas in every direction. Residents appreciate the balance of peaceful, family-friendly living with convenient access to cultural events, festivals, and year-round outdoor recreation.
The clinic provides a modern, well-equipped outpatient setting designed to support high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy care. As part of a therapist-owned organization that has delivered clinical excellence for more than two decades, the environment emphasizes collaboration, professional respect, and strong support for clinical growth. You will be surrounded by colleagues who value teamwork, continuous learning, and individualized patient care, helping you refine your skills and advance your career in a supportive setting.
In this role, you will evaluate and treat a diverse caseload that typically includes orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, work-related conditions, and functional movement impairments. A typical day will involve performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, delivering manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programs, providing patient education, and monitoring objective outcomes over time. You will work closely with referring providers and the broader care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered treatment.
The schedule is designed around traditional outpatient clinic hours, with a focus on consistent patient follow-up and effective use of appointment slots to support continuity of care. Patient volume is structured to allow thorough assessments and attentive follow-up visits, with an emphasis on quality of interaction and measurable progress. The clinic’s workflow and EMR tools are set up to support efficient documentation and clear communication.
This position offers a strong platform for professional development, including opportunities to refine specialty interests within outpatient practice such as orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention, or work-related injury management. The organization’s emphasis on clinical excellence and therapist leadership makes this an attractive role for clinicians who value both autonomy and strong team support.
