This travel SLP-CF opportunity is based in Irmo, South Carolina, a welcoming suburban community just northwest of Columbia and minutes from the shores of beautiful Lake Murray. Irmo offers a blend of small-town charm and big-city access, with tree-lined neighborhoods, local parks, and a close-knit feel, all while being a short drive to Columbia’s vibrant downtown, major universities, cultural venues, and diverse dining scene. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy quick access to boating, fishing, and waterfront activities on Lake Murray, along with nearby trails, green spaces, and community events that make Irmo an appealing place to live and work during your assignment. The position is a full-time, school-based Clinical Fellowship role in a K–8 setting within a supportive public school district. You will have a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working approximately 7.5-hour days, Monday through Friday, aligned to a traditional school calendar. The district provides a structured Clinical Fellowship experience, including district-provided supervision, giving you the mentorship and guidance needed to build a strong foundation in school-based speech-language pathology. You will manage a caseload of approximately 45–50 students across two schools, serving children in kindergarten through 8th grade. While your assignment covers two campuses, the schedule is designed so that you will not travel between schools on the same day, allowing you to focus fully on each site’s students and staff during your assigned days. The district’s team-oriented environment emphasizes collaboration, making this a great setting for a new clinician to grow professionally. Daily responsibilities include providing speech therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs. You will conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services in individual or small-group formats. A key component of the role is completing all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including progress notes, evaluation reports, and related paperwork aligned with district and state requirements. You will be responsible for writing
