Job Description & Requirements
Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1987.00 - $2047.00

This outpatient Physical Therapist position is based in Loganville, Georgia, a vibrant and growing community located between Atlanta and Athens. Loganville offers the best of both worlds: a welcoming small-town environment with tree-lined neighborhoods and local shops, combined with quick access to big-city amenities, entertainment, and professional sports in the greater Atlanta area. Residents enjoy parks and green spaces, community events, and a family-friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to put down roots or enjoy a rewarding assignment. The clinic is part of a well-established, locally founded outpatient physical therapy organization known for its focus on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care. The group was created by physical therapists and an athletic trainer, which helps ensure a strong clinical voice in decision-making and a culture that supports high-quality, hands-on care. Clinicians have access to modern equipment and treatment spaces designed to support progressive exercise, performance-based rehab, and functional training. In this role, you will manage a diverse outpatient caseload that may include post-operative orthopedic patients, sports injuries, acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and general orthopedic and spine cases. A typical day includes new evaluations, follow-up treatment sessions, progress notes, and collaboration with support staff and colleagues to optimize patient outcomes. Patient volume is structured to support thorough evaluations and appropriate follow-up visits, allowing you to maintain a focus on quality care. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, implementing evidence-based interventions, and regularly reassessing patient progress. You will utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training tailored to each patient’s goals and activity level. Close coordination with referring physicians, athletic programs, and other healthcare providers is expected, with an emphasis on clear communication and timely progress updates. The outpatient center typically operates during daytime and early evening hours on weekdays, with some flexibility in scheduling to meet patient demand. Shifts are designed to balance clinic needs with provider preferences whenever possible. You will work alongside a collaborative team that may include other physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and front office staff, all focused on delivering efficient, streamlined care and a positive patient experience. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of orthopedic and sports-related diagnoses, making it an excellent opportunity for building and refining clinical skills. The organization’s multi-clinic footprint and emphasis on performance-based rehabilitation provide opportunities to grow professionally, explore niche interests, and develop a strong resume in outpatient orthopedics and sports therapy. Loganville’s location makes it easy to enjoy nearby attractions, whether spending time at local parks and community events, exploring the restaurant and arts scenes in Atlanta, or visiting college-town attractions in Athens. The combination of a supportive clinic environment, strong community feel, and convenient access to larger metro areas makes this Physical Therapist position appealing for both emerging and experienced clinicians.
