You will also provide patient and family education, coordinate care with other providers as needed, and monitor progress through outcome measures and re-evaluations. A typical day may involve a mix of new evaluations and follow-up visits, with patient care scheduled throughout your shift. Patient volume is designed to allow for attentive, hands-on care while maintaining a steady, efficient clinic flow. You will collaborate closely with other physical therapists, physical therapist assistants (if utilized), and support staff to ensure an organized, patient-friendly environment. Electronic medical records are used for documentation, scheduling, and communication within the clinic. Shifts are generally daytime and weekday-focused, with some clinics offering early morning or early evening hours to accommodate patient schedules. Full-time clinicians can expect a consistent weekly schedule.
