This temporary direct Physical Therapist opportunity is based in Fayetteville, Georgia, a vibrant and growing community in the metro Atlanta region. The position is in an outpatient setting, providing care to a diverse patient population with a focus on restoring function, reducing pain, and improving quality of life. Patients commonly present with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs, as well as other conditions appropriate for outpatient physical therapy. The environment is designed to support efficient, patient-centered care with modern treatment spaces and equipment tailored to outpatient rehabilitation.
As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver hands-on interventions and therapeutic exercise programs. You will monitor patient progress, adjust plans of care as needed, and document all services accurately in an electronic medical record system. You will also educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies to maintain functional gains after discharge.
This assignment is a 13-week temporary direct engagement with an ASAP start, making it well-suited for therapists seeking a defined contract period in a desirable location. The schedule consists of day shifts, five 8-hour days per week, for a total of approximately 40 hours weekly. On-call responsibilities are not anticipated, supporting a consistent daytime work routine. The outpatient team culture emphasizes collaboration, professional respect, and clear communication, allowing you to integrate smoothly into the workflow and focus on high-quality care.
Patient volume and scheduling are aligned with typical outpatient practice, allowing for a structured caseload and reasonable one-on-one treatment times.
