Job Description & Requirements
Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1938.00 - $1997.00

This outpatient Physical Therapist position is based in Conyers, Georgia, a welcoming community that offers the charm of a smaller city with the convenience of easy access to metropolitan Atlanta. Conyers features local parks, nearby lakes, green spaces, and walking trails that are ideal for therapists and patients who value an active lifestyle. Residents enjoy a relaxed pace with a strong sense of community, while being close enough to Atlanta to take advantage of professional sports, dining, arts, and cultural attractions. You will be working in a modern outpatient rehabilitation and performance environment that emphasizes high-quality, evidence-based care and a collaborative team culture. The clinic is designed for orthopedic and sports-focused caseloads, providing space and equipment for therapeutic exercise, functional training, and performance-based programs. The setting supports a positive, patient-centered atmosphere where therapists can see the direct impact of their work on patient outcomes and performance goals. In this role, you will evaluate and treat a primarily outpatient caseload that may include post-surgical orthopedic patients, sports injuries, work-related musculoskeletal conditions, and active individuals seeking performance enhancement. A typical day includes comprehensive initial evaluations, development of individualized treatment plans, delivery of hands-on and exercise-based interventions, patient education, and regular progress reassessments. You will document care in an electronic medical record, coordinate with referring providers, and participate in case discussions with colleagues. Patient volumes are structured to allow for thorough evaluations and meaningful one-on-one or small-group treatment sessions, supporting a balance between productivity and quality of care. The clinic’s model encourages consistent follow-up and continuity, enabling you to guide patients from early rehabilitation through return-to-function or sport. Opportunities may exist to focus on particular populations, such as athletes, post-operative patients, or active adults, depending on clinic needs and your professional interests. Shifts are typically daytime, Monday through Friday, with scheduling designed to accommodate patient demand while supporting work-life balance. This outpatient structure makes it possible to enjoy the surrounding Conyers area before or after work, whether that means enjoying local parks, exploring nearby trails, or taking a short trip into Atlanta for entertainment and cultural events. This position offers a strong platform for professional growth, with exposure to performance-oriented rehabilitation and the chance to refine skills in orthopedics and sports medicine. The supportive environment, modern outpatient setting, and attractive location in Conyers combine to create a compelling opportunity for a Physical Therapist seeking to advance in outpatient practice while enjoying a high quality of life.
