Job Description & Requirements
Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: 10/5/2026 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2146.00 - $2211.00

This outpatient physical therapy role is based in Grand Prairie, Texas, a vibrant city in the heart of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Grand Prairie offers a welcoming community feel with convenient access to major urban amenities. Clinicians can enjoy nearby attractions such as Joe Pool Lake with its scenic trails and waterfront recreation, family-friendly destinations like the EpicCentral entertainment district, and easy access to arts, dining, and sports in neighboring Arlington and Dallas. The area combines affordable living, strong schools, and a wide range of outdoor and cultural activities, making it an appealing place to build both a career and a life. The clinic is a modern outpatient rehabilitation setting designed to support high-quality musculoskeletal care. You will work in a space equipped with contemporary therapy equipment, functional training areas, and supportive technology to help deliver evidence-based interventions. The clinical culture emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and patient-centered outcomes, with opportunities to learn from experienced therapists and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will evaluate and treat a variety of patients across the lifespan with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, spine care, work-related injuries, and chronic pain. A typical day includes initial evaluations, progress assessments, and follow-up treatment sessions, with responsibility for developing and updating individualized plans of care, documenting in the EMR, and coordinating with referring providers and other members of the care team. You will utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education to restore function and help patients return to their daily activities, work, and recreational pursuits. Patient volumes are consistent with a busy outpatient practice, with scheduling designed to balance productivity and quality of care. You may work alongside physical therapy assistants and support staff to optimize patient flow while ensuring appropriate clinical oversight and delegation. The environment is team-oriented, and therapists are encouraged to share clinical insights, participate in case discussions, and pursue specialization interests within the outpatient caseload. Shifts are typically daytime hours on weekdays, with possible variation depending on patient demand and clinic scheduling practices. Start and end times are arranged to meet community needs while supporting work–life balance. The setting offers a clear pathway for professional development, with opportunities to refine clinical expertise, take on additional responsibilities, and advance within the outpatient therapy environment.
