You must have completed an accredited surgical technologist program and hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 2 years of recent operating room experience is required. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Skills in sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and teamwork are important for this role.
