CERTIS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
SHIFTS: 12-hour Day shift position; start time 0700 19:00. Three Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including Pres Now ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities)
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
