Sono- Ob/Gyn Tech needed asap
Confirms appropriateness of ordered exam from the diagnosis. Contacts appropriate medical staff for additional information regarding the patient when necessary.
Someone who is able to work in a face paced setting, effective communication skills, collaborate well with a multidisciplinary team
ARDMS Certification – OBGYN Preferred, 2 or more years experience working in Women’s Health, Proficient in GYN ultrasounds such as early pregnancy monitoring, endometrial cavity evaluation, endometrial thickness, uterine/adnexal/ovary evaluation. Experience in GYN procedures and REI a plus. Knowledge of GE ultrasound machine, trophon disinfection system and EPIC
Broad knowledge of ultrasound physics and procedures.
Operation of all required equipment including troubleshooting when necessary.
Operation of automatic processor, copying/digitizing film equipment, R.I.S., PACS related equipment, basic life support and medical terminology.
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and positive guest relations.
Maintain confidentiality.
Operate basic office equipment.
Demonstrate (preferably) bilingual skills.
Required- Successful completion of a formal 2-year training in a school of Ultrasound by the Joint Review committee for in the Radiological Sciences (JRCERT) of the American Medical Association
Required- RDMS - Cert-Reg Diag. Medical Sono American Registry of Diagnostic Medical- RDMS
