Join our dedicated team as a CT Technologist at our state-of-the-art facility located in Houston, Texas. At HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, you will become part of a community recognized for its exemplary performance in healthcare delivery, patient satisfaction, and safety standards. Your role will involve performing diagnostic CT examinations promptly and accurately, ensuring adherence to radiation safety procedures. You will work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care in our well-equipped and modern healthcare facility. The responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with radiologists to interpret the results. Shift: 7-on 7-off (3-12 hour shifts and 4-10 hour shifts) week 1 : Th/F/S 17:30-06:00 week 2: S/M/T/W 20:30-07:00 Unit Information: CT Location: HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest Address: 710 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77090 Floor: 1 Building: main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 417; 95-150 CT exams per day Number of Staff – varies Type of staff: Day Shift – when fully staffed, up to 5 + transporter Night Shift - when fully staffed 2 + transporter Patient Ratios – n/a Type of equipment – GE Rev Evo 63 slice x 3 EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. GE Scanner experience Experience in both CT and CTA Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Trauma & stroke experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): CT & CTA head, body, neuro, extremity including run offs and Perfusion Polytrauma Panscans; CT/CTA/CTP for stroke Best personality Fit: Self-directed, communicative, hardworking, team player and ability to work independent REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ARRT (CT) and BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) Floating Area(s): Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Hunter Green Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On call(if any)
