Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist jobs in Norfolk, VA let you use your VA license and RRT certification to care for adult and geriatric patients in high-acuity settings. You will work 12-hour night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekends and on-call every 6 weeks for a 13-week contract and 36 hours weekly. Your responsibilities include managing ventilators, responding to trauma, performing bronchial hygiene, and supporting cardiac and surgical ICU, ED, IMCU/MS floors, and trauma units. You will treat 8 to 15 patients per shift and use advanced equipment such as Hamilton vent fleet, Optiflow, Vapotherm, Resmed AirCurve, Hillrom Metaneb, and Philips Respironics Cough Assist.
