Special Requirements: Antepartum, Facility births/month <100, Labor and Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, Level I Nursery, LDRP, Mother/Baby. Required Antepartum Care and Procedures Skills/Experience: Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), NST (Non Stress Tests), OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring).
Required Fetal Monitoring Skills/Experience Required Labor and Delivery Management Skills/Experience: Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam.
Required Newborn Care Skills/Experience: Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, Metabolic Screen, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation.
